If you’ve ever been a patient of ours, then you most likely know Russell. After 26 years working as an infusion nurse at the Cancer Clinic, Russell has decided to retire. Over the last few months, hundreds of messages were sent in thanking Russell for the care he provided for patients - and this is only a fraction of the lives he impacted in our community. He has been a caregiver and friend to thousands of patients and has been an invaluable employee as we’ve grown and expanded our clinic. We will miss him very much and are sure our patients will too!

We are so proud of Dr. Fleener being voted to the Texas Monthly Super Doctors List 2023 for the ninth year in a row. The accolades don't end there, she was previously voted a Rising Star three years running. Dr. Fleener lifts us up everyday with her passion and dedication to fighting and treating cancer. She is our role model and creates the most positive and caring environment for our patients and our team. And, all along the way, works tirelessly as an advocate for breast cancer research and awareness in the Brazos Valley. We love you, Dr. Fleener, CONGRATULATIONS!

Cancer Clinic Team Turns Out In Support of Surviving & Thriving Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon

The 20th Annual Surviving & Thriving Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon was an enthusiastic success with over 780 people in attendance. The Cancer Clinic team turned out as a sponsor in support of this important cause. The keynote speaker, Kelly Corrigan, was inspirational and the mood was a joyful celebration of life as the room was comprised of hundreds of breast cancer survivors. Thank you, Dr. Floyd , Dr. Durham , Dr. Fleener and team for representing us as we celebrated our 20th year in support of this wonderful organization!

Dr. Fleener is looking forward to speaking on Thursday, October 5th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library located at 100 Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy in Brenham, Texas. The topic will be 'Breast Cancer: A Community Oncologist's Perspective' and is sponsored by the wonderful Brenham Bosom Buddies group.

The entire team turned out to recognize and celebrate Dr. Jenkin's contribution to healthcare in our community as the recipient of the St. Joseph Legacy Award. A plaque has been installed outlining his many accomplishments next to the Legacy Tree in the lobby of St. Joseph's outpatient surgery center. Congratulations Dr. Jenkins, we are so proud of you!
